The youngest member of Fraco's family, the ACT-4 work platform combines safety, quickness and flexibility. It distinguishes itself by its multi trade profile and it represents the best choice for specialized contractors such as masons, repointers, glaziers, painters, plasterers, and general contractors involved in inspection, renovation, building maintenance, etc.

Used with one or two masts, this system of cantilevers and bridges is the solution to vertical access problems encountered during construction projects and other special works.

The endless screw mechanism of the ACT-4 allows quick elevation and exact positioning of the platform. Assembled with one mast, this system offers:

• a maximum length of 47 ft (14,3 m);
• a load capacity of 4 000 lb (1 815 kg);
• a lifting speed of 16 ft (4,9 m) per minute.

As another benefit, the ACT-4 has the ability to share its mast sections with the heavier model, the ACT-8; this is a new way to maximize your investment.

The ACT-4 has been developed with the same improved technology as the ACT-8, i.e. the Advanced Cylindrical Technology which allows a fast, smooth and safe elevation of the platform. This mechanism is used on hundreds of job sites every day. The ACT-4 requires minimum maintenance and includes a portable control box that provides ease of operation. Access to the engine and to the lifting mechanism remains simple and safe.

In order to make the ACT-4 the safest platform of its category, a new sliding door has been added; access to the working area is risk-free. Finally, as with all of Fraco's platforms, the tower protection mesh allows a safe vertical movement of the working deck.

The possibility to increase the upper working area and install a lower step working deck on the outriggers gives the workers a productive and safe environment: material is always available. When set up with one mast, the ACT-4 can be extended to 47 ft (14,3 m) with its lighter and galvanized cantilever and bridge sections. Its maximum height is 550 ft (168 m) when used with a ground base and anchors, and 45 ft (13,7 m) with a freestanding base without anchor.
